Byrdcliffe presents the second annual Festival of the Arts, Friday through Sunday, June 14 – 16, 2013, at the Byrdcliffe Art Colony and Kleinert/James Center for the Arts, Woodstock, NY. Thirteen regional arts organizations will be presenting performances ranging from concerts, dance, stage plays, modern mystery, comedy to spoken word.

The mission of the Byrdcliffe Festival of the Arts is to embrace, celebrate and honor all of the performing arts in the tradition of Byrdcliffe and Woodstock. The Festival encompasses avant garde and traditional acts, featuring local and internationally recognized players – and gives area artists an opportunity to play for larger, more diverse audiences while at the same time, brings in outside performers to enrich the already plentiful offerings of the Hudson Valley. The Byrdcliffe Festival of the Arts takes its place among the new cultural traditions here in Woodstock, within the historic Byrdcliffe campus as well as in the town itself, long recognized around the world as the "colony of the arts".

Tickets can be purchased online. Please know that we will only sell tickets online and at the door - NO tickets sales via the phone! There will also be no physical tickets. Please print out your receipt when you have purchased tickets online. However, if you accidentally forget to bring your receipt to the performance, we will have your name on a ticket holders list for that particular performance.

For each event, please consider the amount of time necessary to travel to each venue and to allow time to park. We also ask of all our Festival pass and ticket holders to please arrive to each event at least 15 minutes before showtime.

During the Festival, there will be a Welcome Center at the Kleinert/James Center for the Arts and at the Byrdcliffe Art Colony (located next to the Byrdcliffe Theater). These tables will be set up to assist our guests in any way, will have Festival merchandise, and also day of ticket sales.

Thank you again and we look forward to welcoming you!

All 2013 Byrdcliffe arts programming is made possible by the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Andrew Cuomo and the New York State Legislature.
